Children Photography

I love to capture children when they are truly being themselves.  Nothing warms a mother’s heart more than seeing a little quirk, or a glance captured forever in an image.  I like to use props that are child-friendly, age-appropriate, and most importantly fun!  I always try to connect in some way before we get to taking “THE” shot.  This is what makes my job so much fun.  I never know when that moment will be, but I always seem to capture that one special shot amongst many.

Outdoor locations under natural light are always my preference, but working with lighting and flash creates a very different effect.  Sometimes the shadows cast both on and by the subjects, adds a unique touch, and I enjoy working with these images as well.
